Blush
I used "Tangerine Tango" very sparingly today. I was trying to capture a range of sunset colors against the neutral gray. Today's gray was a combination of ultramarine blue, burnt sienna and titanium white. I did add a tiny bit of cadmium yellow light to warm it up in a few places.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Sweethearts

Painted on black gesso, these are the tiniest Granny Smith apples that I've ever seen. They are almost bite-sized. And I exercised a lot of artistic license with them, but I'm still enjoying experimenting with the Pantone color "Tangerine Tango." I can't help myself. I really love the color orange mixed with gray.
Now, I'm off to take my little Rodeo for a walk. It is gorgeous here today. Sunny and 70 degrees. We are hoping that Phil doesn't see his shadow tomorrow!

Kate & CrackerJack
This was painted for the Daily Paintworks Challenge this week, but now, I'm not sure it would really qualify. I painted it on a tangerine-toned ground, but I can never seem to leave enough of my background colors. The tangerine-toned ground, however, was really fun to paint on. I look forward to trying it again.

Sweet Sheltie (N/A)
I've been working on pet portraits the past few days. It has been so cold and windy out. I've been happy to be busy indoors. I hope you're all having a great week!
