Its Apple-Picking Time

Today's painting serves as an illustration in things *not* to do.  If I had used a ruler, I couldn't have centered the background line more.  And even more worrisome, I didn't notice it until I was in the process of scanning it.  Now, I can't see anything else.  Ah, well.

Yesterday's storms brought 3 inches of much needed rain.  And today, I really felt a sense of the coming change of seasons.  The yellow and orange leaves of the trees looked stunning against the gray sky.  Nature's palette is the prettiest of all.  :)
