Jadeite Grapes

Yesterday, I spent a little time on Amarillo's 6th Street.  In recent years, the area has enjoyed a wonderful revitalization and is now home to many antique shops and vintage stores.  Located along historic Route 66, it is a charming street and a fun place to visit.

I picked up this little Jadeite bowl for a couple of dollars.  Other than a vintage tea towel, it was my only purchase, but it was a lovely afternoon.  The highlight of my day was seeing the street lined with beautifully restored Model-T Fords.  It felt like stepping back in time.  I asked one of the shopkeepers what was going on that day, and she said that they were having their version of a "T-Party."  Gotta love it.  ;)
