As I was squinting at this painting -- concentrating on my values -- I picked up, what I thought was my coffee cup, but it was, in fact, my jar of mineral spirits. Fortunately, I realized my mistake before any chemicals were ingested. Can you imagine explaining that to the ER doc? Ah, Mondays. Hope yours was a good one!

Great little painting, great title! But Darla, you need to be careful. Actually, I've almost done the same thing . . . now I set my drinking cup away from my paints and solvents. No more accidents, and it's probably healthier too!
Thank you, Linda! And you're so right. I'm going to drink more coffee before I start painting in the mornings. And I plan to keep my cup far from my easel, lol. :)
Darla,I think we've all been very close to what you nearly did with your solvent---- love the strawberries!
They look yummy---Karen
Oh yes..never mind solvents...dirty acrylic water..is just as unpalletable.....and painting is a good time to drink and hydrate...
great refections in this painting Darla
Thank you, Karen & Page! Y'all make me feel better! :)
