Kate & CrackerJack

This was painted for the Daily Paintworks Challenge this week, but now, I'm not sure it would really qualify.  I painted it on a tangerine-toned ground, but I can never seem to leave enough of my background colors.  The tangerine-toned ground, however, was really fun to paint on.  I look forward to trying it again.

Love this painting, Darla. You've captured a special moment between girl and her horse. There are a few spots where I see the tangerine underpainting poking through. I think it's great. Well done!

This is just fantastic, Darla! Both the horse and the figure are beautifully rendered. The tangerine adds the perfect amount of compliment to the green landscape.
