Daisy Blue (Sold)

During my recent trip to the grocery store, these little daisies caught my eye.  They have been the perfect studio companions for this chilly February day.  I'm continuing to focus on painting white-on-white.  (Squint.  Squint.  Squint.)

I hope you're all staying warm and enjoying a wonderful week!

Another beauty, Darla! I love how you've positioned the daisy at a 3/4 view - it makes for a really interesting design in this simple composition. The grays, as always, are wonderful.

Darla, this is another exquisite painting. The simplified composition and the cropping is brilliant. I LOVE your soft palette and the reflections on the blue glass. Sorry that I've missed a few of your last posts. I also love your rendering of white on white in "Eggshell" -- well done, my friend!
