Iced Water with Lime

Winter is my favorite season, but painting limes has put me in the mood for the long, slow days of summer, porch parties and playing in the flower bed.

Have a great Thursday!

Thank you, girls. I wasn't sure that this painting would read well. I'm glad to hear that it looks "icy" to you. Thank you for your sweet comments.

Darla, your lime series has me almost tasting the subtle and tart flavor of lime in my water glass. So very well done.

This makes me want to get some fresh limes! Love the way you painted this, Darla - I can feel the cold from the ice. Fantastic!

Schitterend, en zo echt, ik zou willen dat ik dat ook kon. Glas vind ik erg moeilijk om te schilderen en zeker in aquarel, heel erg knap.

I'm a lime-lover Darla! Great work!! I am thrilled that we have a common art friend and will join forces for Leslie's marketing challenge. Beautiful paintings here. :)
