Southern Exposure (Sold)

Usually, I paint in my little studio with north light streaming in the window.  Today, however, I set up my plein air easel and painted in our dining room. The southern exposure creates the prettiest reflections on the table. I've tried photographing them, but it just doesn't capture the natural glow.

I hope your week is off to a great beginning!

You really did capture that glow. It's a simple composition, but very nice!

Thank you, girls. I have trouble painting yellows and oranges. I've been trying to focus on practicing my values. I appreciate your encouraging comments. :)
