Tea Bowl with Lemon and Lavender

This little tea bowl is from The Bottle Shop, and it was so fun to paint! I am still experimenting with glazed textures. It is interesting to paint a tiny glimpse of our landscape in the highlight.

My country garden has suffered during our recent years of drought, but the lavender is in full bloom right now.  I love its sweet smell. Definitely, one of life's simple pleasures.

Have a great weekend!

Darla, I love the lavender and happy to see you got one of Jury's pieces. I ordered a piece as well but haven't received it yet. I love your setup. You are doing beautiful work. I just love it! I also liked you cup of tea. Wish we lived closer to share a cup. Miss you!
