This is one of the larger paintings that I've been working on lately. It is 10x20 inches. I would love to paint a life-sized version of this little calf.
Daily Paintworks is hosting a Hurricane Harvey Fundraiser. All proceeds from the sale of the paintings will be donated to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. If you would be interested in helping with this wonderful cause, please stop by and see all of the beautiful paintings that are available. Many thanks to Carol and David Marine.
These little tomatoes have been fun to paint. And good practice. With saturated reds and oranges, getting the values right is always a bit of a struggle for me.
When it snows, I always make chocolate chip cookies for my husband. They are one of his favorite treats. He works outside in the cold all day and deserves spoiling. He prefers hot chocolate, but I used a little artistic license here.
I picked up this little shin oak branch on my morning walk. We are beginning to see a bit of fall color here. It definitely feels like time for the World Series!
