I have to say, I love black gesso. This was my first experience with it, and although I wish that I would have left more of the dark ground exposed, I really enjoyed painting on it. I can't wait to try it again.
I love painting on black ground and it was hard for me to leave some of it at first. I really like the green apple with the blue vase. Really good job on this.
Thank you, girls! It was fun to try something different. For some reason, I'm always drawn to the dramatic touch that black can add to a painting. Now, I've just got to figure out a way to keep myself from covering it up, lol.
