Rice Bowl with Blueberries

As I painted this yesterday, there was a mix of sleet and snow falling outside. It felt so cozy being snuggled up in my studio. I wish that I had selected a lighter background fabric, but there is always next time, right?

I hope your week is off to a wonderful beginning. Happy painting!

Darla, you paint the best blueberries… so plump and juicy! The bowl is lovely also. I'm glad you feel all cozy in your studio. Where I live, we don't have the snow and sleet that you do, but I'm still longing for warm weather and sunshine.

I love the painting and the dark! Really makes the blueberry lights so realistically impressive. Looking forward to the "next time." In my mind's eye, would think it would be a much different painting...
